Lead Coffeshop Manager

Job description:

The Lead Barista/Manager is responsible for leading daily coffee shop operations, maintaining beverage quality standards, training staff, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. This role is ideal for an experienced specialty coffee professional who enjoys both hands-on bar work and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead baristas during daily shifts

  • Maintain espresso, coffee, and beverage quality standards

  • Train and onboard new team members

  • Monitor workflow and service speed during peak periods

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the coffee shop

  • Handle customer concerns professionally

  • Open and close the coffee shop as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of barista experience preferred

  • Previous leadership or training experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Weekend availability
